Macy is a graduate of Media and Culture, with a minor in Creative Cities, under the Humanities Honours Programme at Utrecht University. She also trained in Drama and Theatre Arts at Goldsmiths, University of London.

When not working, Macy is cooking, crafting, and cruising through Utrecht on her bike.
